Job Description
Busy orthopedic office has a full-time opening for a Back Office Medical Assistant plus Office Float. Primary responsibilities will include rooming patients, fielding authorization calls, scheduling appointments, collecting labs, calling in and distributing medications, preparing charts and patient paperwork, and otherwise assisting providers with the flow of patients through the office. Position will also cover the front desk reception area as needed during staff turn-around times. Applicant must have exceptional organizational skills, excellent computer skills and be ready to work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining great attention to detail.
