This position is full-time on site in Reston, VA./ppKey Responsibilities:/pulliAssist in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and ETL processes/liliWork with structured and unstructured data from various sources to ingest, clean, transform, and store in appropriate formats/liliSupport the creation and optimization of data models in data warehouses/liliMonitor data pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues as needed/liliCollaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to understand data needs/liliEnsure data quality, integrity, and consistency across all data systems/liliMaintain documentation for data processes and pipelines/liliLearn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and best practices in data engineering/li/ulpMinimum Qualifications:/pulliActive TS Clearance with SCI Eligibility/liliBachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field/liliProficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python)/liliFamiliarity with relational databases and data warehousing concepts/liliUnderstanding of ETL concepts and tools/liliExposure to workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, NiFi and Kafka/liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills/liliExcellent communication and teamwork abilities/liliEagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment/liliExperience in Jupyter Notebooks, PostgreSQL./liliExperience with version control systems (e.g., Git)/li/ulpDesired Qualifications:/pulliKnowledge of data lake technologies and big data tools (e.g., Spark)/liliFamiliarity with containerization tools like Docker/li/ul/div
